EURO 2024: Denmark set for Euro 2024 after Eriksen, Hojbjerg, Delaney dip

Denmark have qualified for Euro 2024 despite a poor run of form for some of their key players

A surprise defeat to Kazakhstan in their opening match of Group H was followed by a draw in Finland, but Denmark recovered to win seven of their remaining eight games

Denmark will be facing two nations they've never lost to in Group C at Euro 2024. They first take on Slovenia in Stuttgart against whom they've won three and drawn one of their four previous meetings.

They then face their toughest test, a clash with reigning champions Spain in Pamplona. Their only previous meeting came in the round of 16 at the 2018 World Cup, when Spain won 3-0.

Their final group match is against Finland in Helsinki, a repeat of their opening qualifier in March 2023 which Denmark won 2-0.

Denmark will be confident of reaching the knockout stages, but they will need to be wary of complacency. They were eliminated in the group stage at Euro 2020 after finishing third behind Belgium and Russia.
