Portugal overcame Slovenia 3-0 on penalties after a goalless 120 minutes in their round of 16 clash at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Bruno Fernandes, João Cancelo, and João Félix all scored from the spot, while Jan Oblak saved from Renato Sanches.
It was a nervous night for Portugal, who were on the ropes for much of the match. Slovenia had the better chances and hit the woodwork twice, but Portugal held on.
Ronaldo was substituted in the second half and was visibly emotional as he watched his team mates celebrate their victory.
Portugal will now face France in the quarter-finals, while Slovenia's Euro 2024 campaign is over.
