Lions' Fagan in "coaching form of his career": Zorko

Brisbane Lions coach Chris Fagan is in the "coaching form of his career" according to captain Dayne Zorko, with the side sitting pretty in fifth spot after a 13-point win over the Western Bulldogs.

Zorko was full of praise for his coach after the match, saying that he has been "instrumental" in the Lions' success this season.

"He's been in the coaching form of his career," Zorko said. "He's been really clear with his messaging, he's been really supportive of the players, and he's created a really positive environment."

The Lions have won eight of their last nine matches, and Zorko believes that Fagan's coaching has been a key factor in their turnaround.

"He's just been really consistent with his message," Zorko said. "He's not getting too carried away when we're winning, and he's not getting too down on us when we're losing. He's just staying really level-headed and making sure that we're all on the same page."

The Lions will be looking to continue their winning ways when they take on the Gold Coast Suns next Saturday night.
