Ulsan Hyundai, Kawasaki Frontale Secure Asian Champions League Elite Round Berths
Ulsan Hyundai, Kawasaki Frontale Win Groups; Gangwon FC, Jeonbuk Motors Advance as Well
South Korea's Ulsan Hyundai FC and Japan's Kawasaki Frontale secured their places in the AFC Champions League elite round with victories on Tuesday, while Gangwon FC and Jeonbuk Motors FC also advanced.
Ulsan Hyundai topped Group I with a 2-1 victory over BG Pathum United, while Kawasaki Frontale clinched Group J with a 4-0 victory over Urawa Reds. Gangwon FC advanced as one of the three best second-placed teams, while Jeonbuk Motors FC advanced as the winner of Group H.
Ulsan Hyundai, Kawasaki Frontale Dominant in Group Stage
Ulsan Hyundai and Kawasaki Frontale were the dominant teams in their respective groups, winning all six of their matches. Ulsan Hyundai scored 13 goals and conceded just two, while Kawasaki Frontale scored 20 goals and conceded just one.

Gangwon FC, Jeonbuk Motors Advance as Well
Gangwon FC advanced to the elite round as one of the three best second-placed teams. They finished with a record of three wins, two draws, and one loss, and they scored 11 goals and conceded six.
Jeonbuk Motors FC advanced to the elite round as the winner of Group H. They finished with a record of five wins and one draw, and they scored 15 goals and conceded just two.
Elite Round Draw on December 12
The draw for the AFC Champions League elite round will be held on December 12. The 16 teams that have advanced to the elite round will be divided into four groups of four teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
